I know I said I’d release this on June 19th, but the nice thing about being my own boss is that I can pretty much do whatever I want, like release something early!! So here it is!
***Download Storm Season from bookfunnel here.***
I love this chonky novella with my whole heart and I hope you’ll enjoy it! Please check out the content notes at the start of the novella, and if you love it, please consider telling a friend!
Free-spirited photographer Annie Martin was running from her problems eight years ago when she joined her then-boyfriend and his friend to chase storms across Tornado Alley. Despite having nothing in common with reserved meteorologist Chris Marchetti, Annie wins him over, eventually earning her place on the team, even after her boyfriend exits the picture.
To Annie, chasing is a chance for adventure and an opportunity to hone her photography skills, but her growing relationship with Chris brings her back every season.
Chris doesn’t run from problems—he fixes them. The data he gathers could save lives and is the reason for his long hours behind the wheel. Or it was. Somewhere during the last eight storm seasons, being with Annie took precedence.
They’re usually in the right place at the right time to capture tornadoes, but when it comes to moving beyond their friendship, they’re always in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Until one storm changes everything.
He’ll watch her marry another man even though it’ll rip his heart out, but he’s skipping the reception to chase storms until he forgets—so basically forever. Or that’s the plan until Annie shows up in her wedding dress and running shoes. Is she running from her problems…or chasing him?
Please note, with my current bookfunnel subscription, I’m limited to 500 downloads per month. I don’t anticipate this being a problem any time soon, but if by any chance you try to download and get a message that you can’t, please reach out to me (sarah@sarahbrenton dot com) and I’ll upgrade my subscription to the next tier.
*Strictly speaking, you don’t have to subscribe to my substack to get this novella—you can just click the link and download it for free—but I’d love it if you’d like to stick around. You’ll be the first to get any news, and I’ve got a couple more novellas up my sleeve from the Over The Top Love universe.
